Overview
The system returns an error when searching for a device via IP ADDRESS from the Inventory > Devices page in the ServiceGateway UI.
The following error is a noted in the Encore.log file:
encore.inventory - Problem executing Device Search Missing IN or OUT parameter at index:: 1

Introduction
This document describes the changes included in this patch to Service Gateway, along with the patch installation instructions. This patch can only be applied directly to version 4.1.1 of Service Gateway. Earlier versions must first be upgraded to to 4.1.1. This upgrade cannot be applied to 4.1.2, which has been made obsolete by this release.
Issues Addressed
EE 23988 - Search devices by IP Address failing
Searches by IP Address were failing in the initial release of 4.1.2. This has been corrected in the 4.1.3 release.

Root Cause
Resolution
- If upgrading from ServiceGateway 4.1.1.0 bypass the ServiceGateway 4.1.2 patch and patch directly to ServiceGateway 4.1.3.0. This is the preferred option.
- If upgrading from ServiceGateway 4.1.2.0 apply ServiceGateway HotFix 1408. This is a less desirable option as the version number is not changed as part of the default installation process.
