The Hardware popup on the Device screen does not show Product Class

Overview

On the General tab of the Device screen, the Hardware field only shows manufacturer and revision, but not the Product Class when running an early release of the Service Gateway v5.2 Beta.

It is expected that the Product Class is mentioned as well, as it is part of the unique key.

 


Solution

This is a known issue on early releases of Service Gateway v5.2 Beta. This was fixed in the final version for v5.2.

Upgrade to the final version of v5.2 to have this issue fixed. See the version 5.2 release notes for installation instructions.

 

 


Testing

After upgrading to the final version of v5.2, the Product Class should also be shown in the Hardware field.
