Updating Template Expression results in a Duplicate Expression

Overview

While defining a condition within a template, you select an expression and later select the same expression again to change it and confirm the update. You notice that there are now two expressions instead of a single updated expression.

You can now not save or edit the condition due to the duplicate containing an unexpected loose "AND" expression. You are running the Service Gateway v5.2 Beta.

 

Solution

The Development Team isolated this behavior within the early releases of the v5.2 Beta to a faulty algorithm that determined whether the changes were part of a new or existing expression. The fix for this defective algorithm was included in the final release of Service Gateway v5.2 (5.2.0.0.305).

To resolve this behavior with the duplicate expressions, please deploy the final version of v5.2 within your environment. See the version 5.2 release notes for installation instructions.
