Overview

The firmware upgrades suddenly stopped working though synchronize config of templates placed on the file server works fine.

When looking into a device, it seems as the ServiceGateway 4 doesn't connect to the device.

Environment

• Solaris 10
• Oracle 10
• JBoss 4.0.4GA
• Tomcat 5.5.25

Root Cause

Twiddle monitoring tool is interfering with the EJB (Enterprise Java Beans) level communication of the SGPluginMessageBean after JBoss restarts.

Resolution

To resolve the issue as mentioned earlier, stop the Twiddle Monitoring Task and restart JBoss.
